You embraced me like gentle waves as I stood barefoot in the scorching sands; Off with you I set out on an odyssey to never never lands. In your silence I heard the hurricanes raging inside; your twinkling eyes reflected the scars of a wounded pride. Beneath the stains on my mirror you saw me dive in diffidence; In the echoes of my loudest words you felt the eerie silence. We bridged the gap between us with the boulders of a common wall We climb the same cliff But in different horizons we fall. Like constellations of a shimmering sky we discovered each other As the leaves rustle in twilight, in our caves we disappear.
